Built with Federal, State and considerable funding from Dutch organisations The village has a few self care apartments and 60 hostel units for the care of the elderly in the community. Although special efforts are made to cater for specific ethnic requirements of our residents but not to the exclusion of residents from other compatible backgrounds who have made Abel Tasman Village their home.
ATV has a dementia specific wing and provide palliative care were needed.
Community Aged Care Packages (CACP).
Since 1999, Abel Tasman Village has cared not only for its own residents, but also service some 58 Community Aged Care Clients
The packages are designed to help people with multiple care needs to remain living in their own home, based on their particular needs.
The service is provided by our own bilingual care workers. |
