Inner South West Community Development organisation is a regional forum and NGO peak body for the diverse communities of the Inner South-West area of Sydney.

The Inner South-West region of Sydney covers Canterbury, Marrickville & St George Sutherland area & includes the Local Government Areas of Rockdale, Kogarah, Hurstville, Marrickville, Canterbury & Sutherland Shire.

Our practice reflects the values of social justice; community development; cultural diversity & social inclusion as well as environmental sustainability.

We support the self-determination aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Our Work Includes:

• Regional advocacy & representation on key social justice & sustainability issues
• Resource & Support community groups and locally based & managed welfare agencies & services
• Build expertise in the community & the community welfare sector
• Facilitate cross-agency collaboration and coordinated planning
• Promote innovative approaches and solutions to address community and sector issues
